This standard deck girder bridge crosses the Straight River near the River Bend Nature Center.
Built in 1903, the bridge features a trio of deck girder spans. These spans rest on concrete substructures.
As the seventh crossing of the Straight River, this bridge is actually one of the shorter spans. Minor reinforcements have been done to the substructure of this bridge.
Overall, the bridge appears to remain in good condition. During a 2012 inspection, minor deterioration was found on the bridge.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
